Like a wise man thought me, sometimes we need to take a break from projects and do someting else or we get frustrated and this is what i did.
i set the TV aside and started working on other one of the ones i bought...this one is a x19 t 610
It has a tube tuner for VHF and its turret type, it has a continuous UHF tuner and its solid state.
The tv is all vacuum tubes except the second video IF wich is a AF132 germanium transistor and the raster stabilization wich is a AC125
When i first tested it it had no High voltage at all, completely dead, no raster and not a single spark
I checked the Horiz.oscillator and it was running at about 20khz, way too fast but it should make high voltage, then i checked the grid of the horizontal output tube and the horizontal drive was present and with good amplitude, next i tested continuity on all the flyback windings and everything seemed fine but something was loading down the flyback..
So i suspected a leak im the Hhigh voltage winding...i replaced it and the result was the same.
then i looked into the other philips tv the one with the vertical problem and the flyback were identical but the pins were totally different.
but with a bit of tracing and rewiring i fitted the entire flyback on this one. After tweaking the horizontal oscillator coil for the right frequency it works very well and with all the original capacitors.
i still want to replace some electrolitics and clean the controls and do a set-up.
here is the x19t610 with the replacement flyback fitted
some rewiring work on the red circle area other shot of the work done
this is the tv with the vertical problem that donated the flyback.. Notice all the yellow capacitors on the vertical section that i replaced while trying to fix the problem
this tv died for the other one to live. i will store it for parts
